My stay at Orchard House was exceptional. The room was comfortable with a modern bathroom, and the hosts, Yvonne and Jason, were incredibly welcoming, offering great advice on local activities. The breakfast was delicious, featuring a variety of cooked options and cereals, providing excellent value. the hotel’s hot tub was perfect for relaxation after a day of work.

The Double Room offered a spacious layout with a nice sea view, perfect for family relaxation. The bathroom featured impressive details that stood out for its cleanliness and style, making it a comfortable spot post-adventure.
The breakfast setup could use some clarity as certain items, like fruit salad and croissants, required pre-ordering the night before. We overlooked ordering these, which disrupted our breakfast experience, leading to missed treats. parking fees can add up, especially if planning to stay longer, which can catch you off guard if you're not ready for it. Expect some confusion when checking in, as well as a lack of patience, particularly if you're trying to rush out the door early for the next leg of your journey.

The local grub was top-notch, especially at Lyndale Tea Rooms just around the corner—they serve a cracking cream tea! the bistro down the road had mouth-watering dishes that'll make your taste buds tango. Plus, the service at Orchard House was simply lovely, and they certainly made our stay feel special.
While it’s a cozy spot, the location wasn’t quite what I expected for estuary views, and the public areas could do with a bit of sprucing up, but it still felt homely and welcoming.

Couple's perfect getaway
We really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub experience was mind-blowing-they even provided us with slippers and drinks while we relaxed under the setting sun. The breakfast was delicious, I mean generous portions that got us ready for a long day ahead.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, so if you’re looking for a budget option, this isn’t it.

stayed for 1 night and it was pretty cozy. yvonne and jason were super welcoming and helpful, started my day right with a tasty cooked breakfast. the views from the room were nice even if not what i expected! the en-suite bathroom was really clean and had everything we needed. loved how they provided real milk for tea, that was a nice touch.
the room was a lil smaller than i thought and the steps to get to the hotel were steep, which could be a pain for some. also, parking is kinda tricky if you're coming late.

we had a super comfy room and the location was perfect, right in the center of lynmouth. the full english brekkie was delish and the hosts were really friendly, helped us with parking while we did our walks. also, the hot tub was a fun touch to relax in after exploring. definitely a more personal vibe compared to standard hotels, felt at home here.
the bathroom could use some frosted glass for privacy and the wifi didn’t work in our room at all.

Perfect for a family getaway
We loved the warm welcome from Yvonne and Jason, they treated us like family from the get-go. the food was just incredible, I mean the full English breakfast was cooked to perfection and the homemade sausages were to die for.
It was on the pricier side but still reasonable considering the quality.
